Eva
Tebbe studeerde harp bij Manja Smits en behaalde in 2000
het 1e fase diploma (Bachelor) aan het ARTEZ instituut. Als
17 jarige was zij prijswinnares tijdens het Prinses
Christina Concours (1994), waar zij de Donemusprijs ontving
voor de best vertolkte compositie van een Nederlandse
componist. In 1999 en 2000 studeerde Eva aan de
Conservatoire Regional de Rueil-Malmaison (Frankrijk) bij
harpiste Christine Icart en nam vervolgens privˆ©lessen van
de pianist Frank Peters en de harpiste Godelieve Schrama.
Zij behaalde in 2004 haar 2e fase diploma (Masters) met
aantekening Kamermuziek aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium
van Den Haag bij Ernestine Stoop. Eva volgde masterclasses
en cursussen van ondermeer: Marielle Nordmann, Helga
Storck, Natalia Schameyeva, Tania Tauer, Andrew-Lawrence
King, Isabelle Moretti, Christine Icart en Theo Olof.
Eva heeft haar hart verpand aan de kamermuziek en de vocale
muziek. Als soliste en met diverse kamermuziek ensembles
treedt zij veelvuldig op tijdens festivals en in
concertseries waaronder; Muziekgebouw aan het IJ in
Amsterdam (2005-2008), het Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam
(2006-2008), Cellofestival Dordrecht (2007), Concertgebouw
te Amsterdam (2005, 2007, 2009), Nieuwe Kerk/Anton
Philipszaal Den Haag (2008), The Tenth World Harp Congress
(2008), Peter de Grote Festival Groningen (2008),
Muziekcentrum Frits Philips Eindhoven (2009) en De Doelen
te Rotterdam (2009).
Met het strijkersensemble `Camerata Antonio Lucio` o.l.v.
Emmy Verhey speelde Duo BILITIS (Eva Tebbe & Ekaterina
Levental) de Nederlandse Premieres van harp dubbelconcerten
van de Poolse componist Maciej Malecki (oktober 2004) en
Jean Francaix (januari 2005). Eva verleende haar
medewerking aan diverse radiouitzendingen van ondermeer
Radio 4, NPS en de Concertzender.
Eva Tebbe houdt zich intensief bezig met het schrijven van
arrangementen om het solo- en kamermuziekrepertoire van de
harp te vergroten en te verdiepen, ook brengt zij
regelmatig nieuwe composities van verschillende
(Nederlandse) componisten in premiere.
Dankzij
financiele steun van ondermeer het Niemeyer Fonds en de
Therese Drucker Stichting bespeelt Eva een
David-pedaalharp.

harpist Eva Tebbe received her first harp lessons at the
age of ten from the well-known Dutch harpist Manja Smits.
In 1994 Eva won the `Donemus-price` for the best
performance of a Dutch composition during the prestigious
music competition for young Dutch musicians `Het Prinses
Christina Concours`. She obtained her Bachelor Degree from
the `Arnhem School of Music` in 2000. In 1999 and 2000 Eva
studied in Suresnes (Paris) and at the `Conservatoire de
Rueil-Malmaison` with harpist Christine Icart. She took
private lessons from the pianist Frank Peters and the
harpist Godelieve Schrama. Eva Tebbe obtained her Masters
Degree of Music at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague in
the class of Ernestine Stoop (2004). Eva Tebbe took several
master classes from harpists of international repute, such
as; Marielle Nordmann, Helga Storck, Natalia Schameyeva,
Tania Tauer, Andrew-Lawrence King and Isabelle Moretti..
She has performed both as a soloist and a member of several
ensembles in renowned concert series and venues such as;
'`The International Holland Music Session's` concert series
(2004-2006), The Concertgebouw in Amsterdam (2005, 2007),
Muziekgebouw aan t`IJ in Amsterdam (2005-2008) and the
`Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam (2006-2008), The Tenth World
Harp Congress (2008), De Doelen, Rotterdam and Vredenburg,
Utrecht (2008). With harpist/mezzo-soprano Ekaterina
Levental she forms a succesful ensemble; `Duo BILITIS`. In
2004 and 2005 they played the Dutch premieres of the double
harpconcerto`s of Francaix and Malecki with violonist Emmy
Verhey and her stringorchestra Camerata Antonio Lucio. To
increase the repertoire for harp Eva is constantly busy
writing arrangements. She regularly premieres new
works.
